CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUE: DESIGN WITHOUT COMPROMISES AND HIGH PRECISION PERFORMANCE

OCEM design is based on these cornerstones:  “sturdiness, reliability and cost-effectiveness in use”.
On equal workload, our presses are the least stressed, because they are the most generously dimensioned.
OCEM presses have always been designed following high-quality, very fine construction techniques developped with the most modern technolgies of this sector.
Our construction quality grants sturdiness of the structures, accurate and precise movements, elevated strength towards the dynamic stress. It all results in high productivity, even under the hardest working conditions, and low running costs.

OCEM makes the structural and the mechanical parts, as well as the moulds, the dosing equipments and the spare parts of  our machines with our own CNC machines and our own CAM programs. This makes it possible to always check the quality of the manufacturing. No other producer can manufacture all essential parts of its machines in its own factory.

Very thick and heavy cast steel frames.  

Circular cast iron tables, in one piece for the small presses or divided into dismountable sectors for the big presses.
 

Moulds in spheroidal cast iron or steel to grant best rigidity to bending, superficial hardness and lightness

Table rotation: depending on whether generously dimesioned Maltese Cross or pinion and toothed wheels is used, we can obtain precision in the fuctionning, simplicity in the maintenance, reliability and low running costs.

Braking and table centring: the system, external to the table, provides a fast rotation and an excellent braking with high precision centring even after many years of service. Movement is integrated with proximity sensors, inverters, encoders according to the applications.    

Pressing cylinders in forged steel, independent from the upper bridge of the press. They can be easily dismantled for the maintenance, and are very strong. Having no weldings, hidden microcavities, tensioned areas or yield points they have a long life, which can not be obtained with cylinders made from tubes or bars or welded steel sheets.

Very thick metal fabrications, bent, welded and assembled in our factories by qualified workers with modern equipments that grant sturdiness, reliability and precision.

Accurate mechanical processes with very restraint tolerances, made on CNC machines, to grant mechanical precision hence reliabilty and long life.

Assembling: each and every OCEM press is assembled in our assembling department where our staff also run the final mechanical, hydraulic and electrical tests.

Shipment of machines and spare parts: from the smallest parcel by DHL to the biggest of our presses.  We can ship special cargos up to 45 tons.

Electrical and electronic plants: we program our PLC's, inverters, servo-motors and man-machine interfaces. We do the cabling of all electric and electronic plants, which we personally test in every function before shipping the machine.
